Blast freezer is an essential component of the meat product supply chain. It is required to freeze the enzymatic activity at the cellular level so that meat shelf life can be extended. This blast freezer capacity is 1 MT which can store meat such as chicken and pork. A blast freezer is set up to enable the livestock farmers of the locality to produce and supply meat to the Dzongkhag and the eastern region along with the Gyalsung Academy in the Dzongkhag.
