The Hon’ble Sanam Lyonpo congratulated the farmers and asked them to work hard to produce more milk as there is good potential and demand for butter and cheese, which will fetch good income.
The number of members in the group has grown over the years. As this location is at an altitude of approximately 2000 meters above sea level, the ministry will try to support improved pasture and fodder conservation. The group aims to double the milk production so that they can reap bigger benefits.
