𝟏𝟗 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒: 𝐇𝐨𝐧’𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐦 𝐋𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐩𝐨 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐦 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦, 𝐋𝐡𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞.Dasho Dzongda and Royal Bhutan Police OC received Hon’ble Sanam Lyonpo and the entourage at Autsho. Gewog Thrizin, Farm Manager and staff along with Gewog extension officers welcomed Hon’ble Sanam Lyonpo and team. The farm Manager updated the status, issues, and challenges of the farm.

The farm currently houses native poultry and local cattle to conserve the genetics of these animals. The farm was instituted in 2017 and was handed over by the Department of Livestock to the National Biodiversity Centre as part of the Civil Service Reform.

Hon’ble Sanam Lyonpo thanked the team for their warm welcome and appreciated the staff for their hard work and dedication. During the farm visit, the farmer manager informed the progress, issues, and challenges faced by the farm.
