๐€๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ–, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’: The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock launched its ambitious 13th Five-Year Plan (2024-2029), themed โ€œTransforming the Agrifood Sector for Economic Growth and Sustainable Development.โ€ The launch event was graced by His Excellency, the Minister for Agriculture and Livestock and attended by the Secretary, heads of departments, department plan focal officers and officials from the Policy and Planning Division.

The 13th Five-Year Plan is designed to guide the Ministryโ€™s renewed focus on transforming the agrifood sector into a dynamic engine of economic growth and enhanced food security.

His Excellency, the Minister conveyed his deep gratitude and thanked all the officials of the Ministry across 20 Dzongkhags for their unwavering commitment and loyalty in fulfilling the mandates of the Ministry. His Excellency further urged all the Ministry officials to reaffirm our commitment and re-dedicate ourselves towards transforming the agrifood sector to greater heights.
