21 September,2022, Thimphu: His Excellency Mr. Sudhakar Dalela who is the new Indian Ambassador to Bhutan called on the Hon’ble Sanam Lyonpo and Agriculture Secretary. Also present in the meeting were Heads of the Departments and agencies. Hon’ble Minister welcomed him and expressed his appreciation and joy on the special and close bilateral relationship enjoyed between the two countries.
H.E Mr. Sudhakar thanked the ministry and conveyed his assurance to work closely with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests and the Royal Government of Bhutan to strengthen bilateral relations with GoI. They also discussed some areas of the mutual interest and area of collaboration particularly focusing on the RNR sector development, marketing, fertilizer import, forestry and some of the ongoing GOI supported projects to the RNR sector. HE Mr. Sudhakar will be visiting some of GoI support sites like ARDCs, NSC, Park etc. to understand field realities.
