𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒: The Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture and Livestock met with the Dzongkhag sector heads, staff of the Bhutan Livestock Development Corporation Limited, and Geog staff at Samarang and Pemathang Geog in Samdrup Jongkhar. The Minister visited the BLDCL farm, Samjong Cooperatives, and the Chirub Commercial Farms.
The Chirub Commercial Farm, to be established at Raling-Pemathang and Ngatshothang in Samrang, aims to demonstrate advanced agriculture technology such as precision farming and sustainable agriculture practices at a commercial scale, and to supplement vegetables required for the Gyalsung academy that are not met through farmers’ production.
