The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock conducted induction programme for the new recruits who were appointed from 1 January 2025. Out of 50 new recruits, one Procurement Officer and one Procurement Assistant will join under the Secretariat Service while 35 have been placed in various central programme under the Department of Agriculture. 11 new recruits are placed in various central programme and Dzongkhags under the Department of Livestock (DoL) and three will join at National Post Harvest Centrer under the Department of Agricultural Marketing and Cooperatives (DAMC).
To formally welcome the new members to the MoAL family, Trashi Khadar was awarded to them. The induction program covered key areas such as the Ministry’s vision, mission, and the goals of the 13th Five-Year Plan (FYP). Additionally, the program emphasized on the importance of promoting and upholding the values of THA DAMTSHI and LEY JUMDREY as a civil servant.
The new employees has been deployed to various field offices upon completion of the induction programme.
