๐Ÿ– ๐€๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“, ๐“๐ก๐ข๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ก๐ฎ:A French business delegation, led by H.E. Dr. Thierry Mathou, Ambassador of France to India, met with the Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock. The meeting was also attended by heads of departments within the Ministry.


The discussions focused on the following potential avenues for collaboration between Bhutan and France in the agrifood sector:

1. Strengthening agricultural value chains
2. Advancing animal healthcare and hygiene for improved productivity
3. Bioprospecting, and Access and Benefit Sharing (ABS)
4. Export diversification and market access
5. Establishing institutional linkages for collaborative research and exchange programs with French research institutes.
Both parties expressed their gratitude for the productive discussions. The meeting marked the beginning of enhanced cooperation in the agrifood sector between theย twoย countries.
