11 April 2025:The Hon’ble Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock attended the Third BIMSTEC Ministerial Meeting on Agriculture in Kathmandu, Nepal on 9th April, 2025. During the meeting, the Hon’ble Minister called for collective actions from the member states in the areas of common interests such as in trade and investment in the agrifood sector. The Minister also reiterated Bhutan’s dedication to advancing the goals and vision of BIMSTEC.
By the sidelines of the meeting, the Hon’ble Minister also called on the Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Rural Development of India, the Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Development of Nepal and the Secretary General of the BIMSTEC Secretariat.
