11 October, Thimphu: H.E. AKM Shahidul Karim, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Bhutan paid a courtesy call to H.E. Yeshey Penjor, Minister, Ministry of Agriculture and Forests.
During the meeting, H.E Agriculture Minister highlighted on the country’s interest in export of potato and boulder to Bangladesh. H.E also expressed the Government’s wish to expand the intake capacity for docks and dry ports for better trade. Their Excellencies also discussed on the ways to enhance the trade between the two countries.
H.E. Karim’s tenure as an Ambassador in Bhutan will end on 25th October 2022. Then H.E Karim will leave for Copenhagen, Denmark, to his new work destination as the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Denmark.
