September 22, 2022: The EU delegation led by Mr. Daniel Hachez, Minister Counsellor, Head of Cooperation, European Union, Bangkok met with Hon’ble Secretary, MoAF and discussed on the past EU support to RNR sector and on the areas of future collaboration. The two parties felt the need to capitalize on new challenges and opportunities offered by the technologies. The Secretary informed that henceforth, MoAF will be moving away from the conventional farming method to use of modern technologies to enhance production.
The meeting also discussed on exploring international export market, improvement of livestock breeds through imported semen, support for research and development and Technical Assistance that the EU will provide to the RNR sector. The EU delegation will visit some of the EU funded activities and interact with the project beneficiaries during their stay in the country.
