16 March, 2023: The executive meeting between the National Land Commission Secretariat (NLCS) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MoAL) chaired by the Hon’ble Minister of MoAL was held on 16th March 2023 at the MoAL Conference Hall. The meeting was organized to present the outcomes of the pilot study on the fallow land status conducted jointly by the two agencies in preparation towards operationalizing the Fallow Land Bank (FLB) initiative. The meeting discussed various options and avenues to enhance optimal utilization of fallow lands in the country.
The half day meeting was attended by National Land Commission Secretary, officials from NLCS and Hon’ble Secretary, and HoDs from MoAl, Thimphu.
