7th May 2024: His Excellency the Minister for the MoAL met with the Director-General of the ICIMOD, Dr. Pema Gyamtsho this afternoon.
During the meeting, the Director General informed of the possible collaborations in the establishment of an Innovation Centre (preferably in the East, in one of the already established centers under the DoA) and Aquaponics (fish and vegetables) with technical and financial support from the ICIMOD. Deliberations also revolved around the way forward of the Wopthang farm at Bumthang
