March 25, 2025: The Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture and Livestock arrived in Samtse Dzongkhag today as part of his official visit. During his stay, he engaged with civil servants to discuss key plans and programs under the 13th Five-Year Plan (FYP).
The Minister also met with pig and poultry farmers in Nangladrang village under Norbugang Gewog, personally visiting their farms to understand their challenges and explore ways to enhance productivity. Additionally, he toured the chain-link factory, where he assessed the production process and held discussions on addressing any challenges in meeting national demand.
The visit underscores the government’s commitment to strengthening the agricultural sector and supporting farmers and industries critical to the country’s economic growth.
