10 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭, 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐡𝐮: Hon’ble Director General, Dr. Pema Gyamtsho, Mr Basanta Raj Shrestha, Director of Strategic Operations and other officials from ICIMOD called on Hon’ble MoAF Minister, Lyonpo Yeshey Penjor and Secretary, Dasho Thinley Namgyel.
The meeting discussed harnessing the collective strengths of the Regional Member Countries to enhance regional and international cooperation to address regional and transboundary issues like climate change, biodiversity loss, water risk, air pollution and other major socio-economic implications.
The meeting also discussed the Bhutan country consultation to seek inputs and guidance from relevant government agencies and other relevant partners in Bhutan on key priorities and impact areas for Medium-Term Action Plan V which will take place in Thimphu on 11th August, 2022 .
