Internship programme in Israel

The Ministry of Agriculture & Livestock (MoAL) is pleased to announce 70 slots for undergoing internship programme in Israel. The details of the internship programme is below:

  1. Country :           Israel
  2. Start date :           01/07/2023
  3. End date :           01/ 05/2024
  4. Duration :           11 months

 

Eligibility criteria:

  1. Be a Bhutanese National;
  2. Must have Bachelors of Agriculture Science or Diploma in Agriculture Science or Class XII Science pass (preference shall be given to candidates with highest academic qualification for the purpose of shortlisting, remaining unfilled slots will be given to next lower level of qualification);
  3. Option will be provided to other interested candidates if there are no applicants as per serial No. 2;
  4. Minimum age requirement is 20 and Maximum age is 35;
  5. Only males;
  6. The candidates shall understand the program involved and are capable of physical hard work in the field;
  7. All the candidates be able to read, write and speak English and learn the theoretical studies in English;
  8. All the candidates are in good health condition and pass the medical clearance;
  9. The candidates shall bear airfare for travelling to Israel (amount to be decided through quotation);
  10. The candidates shall bear airfare for travelling from Israel (to be decided by Agrostudies) on completion of Internship;
  11. The candidates shall also bear expenses related to processing visa, passports and travelling to airport;
  1. The candidates will do the internship in the areas of: dairy, flowers, citrus, vegetables, 
avocado and any other areas as determined by the Agrostudies Limited.
  2. The candidates are required to carry own laptop as per requirement of Agrostudies;
  3. Candidates have received Covid-19 vaccination;
  4. The candidates will be shortlisted and selected based on merit raking of the academic mark;
  5. The candidates should not avail internship programme in Israel earlier;
  6. 70 candidates with highest academic marks will be selected besides fulfilling other required documents.
  7. In addition, the candidates should submit the following documents:
  8. Academic marks;
  9. Copy of CID;
  10. Valid Security Clearance certificate;
  11. Drug Test certificate;
  12. Valid Passport; and
  13. Copy of two passport size photos; and
  14. Medical Certificate
  15. Two Legal stamp
  16. The selected candidates shall sign an undertaking stating that on completion of internship and upon return to Bhutan shall undertake venture into agriculture enterprise and engage in productive activities to be an educated farmer.
  17. The selected candidates shall also sign an undertaking in due compliance of internship rule of Agrostudies;
  18. Interested candidates shall submit applications Form (which can be downloaded) along with duly signed undertaking by the Guarantor;
