June 23, 2024: The Nationwide Dog Population Management and Rabies Control Programme (NADPM & RCP) documentary, report, and commemorative stamp were unveiled today, celebrating the programme’s achievements. The event was graced by His Excellency Hon’ble Prime Minister and His Eminence Leytshog Lopen of Zhung Dratshang.
Upon His Majesty’s command, NADPM & RCP was designed and successfully implemented by the Department of Livestock in partnership with De-suung, through a whole-of-nation approach.
At the launch, Hon’ble Prime Minister expressed his profound respect and gratitude to His Majesty The King for his visionary leadership and inspiration.
The Prime Minister also commended the relentless efforts and dedication of organizations and individuals who contributed to the programme’s success. The Prime Minister emphasized the need for unwavering support, commitment, collaboration, and dedication from all the stakeholders and citizens to uphold the enduring legacy of His Majesty’s vision.
