REORGANIZATION OF MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE & LIVESTOCK (MoAL)

In pursuance to Civil Service Reform Act of Bhutan 2022 and RCSC’s letter No. RCSC/HRMD/2022/       dated 30 December 2022, the erstwhile Ministry of Agriculture & Forests (MoAF) is reorganized and renamed as the Ministry of Agriculture & Livestock (MoAL) with the following Departments and Centre:

  1. Department of Agriculture (DoA)
  2. Department of Livestock (DoL)
  3. Department of Agriculture Marketing & Cooperatives (DAMC) and
  4. National Biodiversity Center (NBC)

Hon’ble Sanam Lyonpo, Agriculture Secretary, Head of Departments/Non-Department, DoFPS and BAFRA attended the tendrel ceremony on the reorganization of the Ministry.
