20th May, 2024: His Excellency, the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock met with the officials of the National Seed Centre (NSC) this afternoon in Paro.
During the meeting, the Program Director of the NSC shed light on the overview of the center’s mandates, mission, vision, and its current scenario. His Excellency also took the opportunity to visit the seed processing, and tissue culture laboratories at NSC and the Bhutan Alpine Seeds. Lyonpo was joined by the Director, Department of Agriculture, and Ms. Sadako Koshiba, President of Oshiye & Co. Ltd, Japan.
