11-14 October, Bumthang: The Hon’ble Sanam Lyonpo visited four gewogs of Chumey, Choekor, Tang and Ura to thanked all the elected local gups and functionaries for serving the People, Government and The King successfully and dedicatedly for five years. He wished them the best to those who will contest again for a new term. He said if they are not successful again, they should not feel disappointed and go against their elected leaders, rather, they should support and guide the new ones.
Lyonpo also visited Wobthang Organic Wonders (WOW) Farm and Strawberry Farm at Metshthang under Tang gewog. At Ura, Lyonpo visited the sites of on-going Shingyer and Tangsibji water projects and hosted a lunch for De-ssups working there.
Lyonpo also met with officials and trainees at UWICER. On the way back to Trongsa, Lonpo attended the second day of Jakar Tshechu.
