June 17, 2024: Visit of Associate Professor Dr.Weerapon Thongma, President of Maejo University, and five-member delegations to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MoAL)
Led by Associate Professor Dr.Weerapon Thongma, President of Maejo University and five-member delegations from Maejo University visited the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock on 17 June 2024 and discussed on implementation of the scholarship offered by MJU which included 15 long-term training and 64 short-term training. During the visit, the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MoAL) also extended heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Weera Pon Thong Ma on his reappointment as the President of MJU for a second term.
The collaboration between Maejo University (MJU) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests (MoAF) started with the implementation of the EU Technical Cooperation in support of the RNR Sector (EUTCP). Between 2016 and 2020, 624 officials were provided 117 advanced short-term training and 7 Masters Degrees at Maejo University.
